Who we are

Fan Sked (“Fan Sked,” “we,” “us”) operates the websites at fansked.com and fansked.ca and the related calendar tools (the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your identity provider (such as Google).
• Schedule preferences. The teams, leagues, and sync settings you choose in the builder.
• Google Calendar data. If you choose to sync to Google Calendar, we receive a short-lived access token allowing us to create calendar events on your behalf in the calendar you select. We only use this scope to write the events you ask us to sync.
• Usage data. Standard server and product logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, error reports) used to operate and secure the Service.

How we use Google user data

Fan Sked’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We use the Google Calendar scope solely to create the events you explicitly choose to sync.
• We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security investigations, or where required by law.
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide and improve the Service, comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Create the schedule events you request in your calendar.
• Communicate with you about your account and the Service.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse or security issues.

Sharing

We share information with service providers who host our infrastructure, send transactional email, and provide analytics, all under contracts requiring them to protect your data. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep account and schedule data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Google OAuth tokens are deleted when you disconnect Google from Fan Sked.

Your choices

• Revoke Google access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
• Opt out of non-essential email by following the unsubscribe link in any message.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password for your identity provider.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted to you in-product or via email.
